■Reimagined Vintage Baker Pants with a Modern Fit
A long-standing favorite, these baker pants have been reintroduced under the Blue refabric line, evolving from the previous JAPAN BLUE JEANS exclusive.

Designed with a tapered silhouette and added room through the hips and thighs, they offer exceptional comfort and have remained a favorite across a wide range of ages and body types.

Previously available in both short and long lengths, this updated version is now offered exclusively in a longer length—carefully refined to better fit more people and suit a variety of styles.

Crafted from back satin, a fabric historically used in U.S. military combat uniforms in the mid-1950s, these pants combine a rugged, authentic texture with a modern silhouette. They deliver a vintage look from the very first wear while developing a unique character over time.

If traditional military pants have never quite felt right, this is a pair worth experiencing.

Blue refabric
Rooted in Japan’s renowned textile quality and a dedication to honest craftsmanship, Blue refabric marks a new chapter that began in 2026.
Originally developed for many years as a ROCOCO-exclusive project with JAPAN BLUE JEANS, the line has now been reintroduced under its own name.

Production is centered around partner factories working with JAPAN BLUE JEANS. The name combines “Blue,” symbolizing Japanese denim, with “Refabric,” a coined term inspired by “Republic” and “Fabric.”
Built around the idea of a “Blue Republic,” the brand celebrates Japan’s rich fabric culture while creating garments that highlight the individuality of the wearer.

Using primarily premium denim from Okayama, each piece is carefully made in trusted factories across Japan. The designs are minimal yet distinctive, allowing the texture and character of the fabric to stand out.

From Japan—where textile culture runs deep—to the world.
Blue refabric introduces a new standard shaped by respect for Japanese fabrics.

A Worn-In Look from the Start
Made from back satin, a fabric originally used in U.S. military combat uniforms in the mid-1950s.
The sulfur-dyeing process gives the fabric a naturally aged look, featuring subtle fading and character-rich wear marks.

Unlike indigo dyeing, sulfur dyeing fades more gradually, offering a softer, more understated aging process.
Like denim, it evolves with wear, developing a character unique to each piece.

*Please note that the olive color may vary slightly depending on the production period. The item you receive may differ slightly in shade from the images shown.

Details That Echo the Era
Double stitching and back flap pockets—details seen in 1960s baker pants—capture the authentic feel of vintage military wear.
Crafted in Japan with precision, designed to be worn and developed over time.

A label is attached inside, signifying production at a JAPAN BLUE JEANS partner factory.

A Silhouette That Complements Modern Styling
Designed with extra room through the hips and thighs for a stress-free, comfortable fit.
The distinctive tapered silhouette, narrowing from the knee to the hem, creates a clean, refined look while maintaining a relaxed feel.
