Thermal King Raschel Honeycomb
This three-dimensional honeycomb thermal fabric was originally developed by the U.S. Navy for use in the subzero temperatures of the Arctic.
The three-dimensional honeycomb knit traps air to help retain body heat, while its high absorbency helps absorb perspiration and moisture. These properties help maintain comfort both outdoors in the cold and indoors in heated spaces.
Based on an analysis of vintage originals, the fabric has been recreated using custom-made yarn to achieve its substantial feel and distinctive three-dimensional texture in a modern form.
