Rooted in Japan’s high-quality textiles and a commitment to precise craftsmanship. Originally developed as a ROCOCO exclusive line for JAPAN BLUE JEANS, the brand is relaunched in 2026 under the name “Blue refabric.”

Production is centered around partner factories of JAPAN BLUE JEANS. “Blue refabric” is a coined term combining “Blue”—representing Japanese denim—and “Refabric,” a blend of “Republic” and “Fabric.” Inspired by the idea of a “Blue Republic,” the brand honors Japan’s rich textile culture while offering garments that quietly elevate the individuality of the wearer.

Crafted primarily from premium denim sourced in Okayama, each piece is carefully made in trusted factories across Japan. The designs strike a balance between minimalism and strength, bringing out the natural character and texture of the fabric. From Japan—a nation of textiles—to the world, Blue refabric presents a new standard shaped by respect for Japanese craftsmanship.










8oz Selvedge Denim—Lightweight with Character
The fabric uses 8oz selvedge denim woven on vintage shuttle looms. Though lightweight, it offers reliable durability while delivering a light and comfortable feel.

Its breathable nature makes it suitable even in warmer seasons. The deep indigo tone gradually develops rich fading and natural wear patterns over time, allowing you to experience the unique aging process of denim.





The design follows the classic five-pocket construction that defines traditional denim. The front features a zip fly for smooth and practical daily use.

Punched rivets add a subtle rugged accent, enhancing the vintage-inspired character.





The leather patch is made from cowhide, a detail that gains depth and character with wear.



A label on the inside signifies that the garment was produced at a partner factory of JAPAN BLUE JEANS.



When the hem is rolled up, the red selvedge line—an understated mark of fabric woven on vintage shuttle looms—appears at the edge, adding a refined touch to the styling.

The silhouette is based on the “PREP,” once a popular standard from JAPAN BLUE JEANS. It features a slightly deeper rise, comfortable room through the thighs, and a strong taper from the knee to the hem, creating a flattering silhouette.

The slim-cut calf area gives a clean, streamlined look. The length is well balanced, allowing it to look complete even without a roll-up for a light, polished finish. Equally suited to sneakers and leather shoes, it works effortlessly across styles from casual to refined.
