Launched in Japan by designer Hiroshi Nozawa, who has been involved in the design and development of numerous brands since the 1980s, WFELD draws on his roots and experiences in Osaka and the wider Kansai region. The name combines “Feld,” an old German word meaning “field,” with the initial “W” found in words such as “Wherever” and “Whenever.” Created for “lifestyle artists” who move freely between city life, travel, and the outdoors, the brand brings together a hybrid sensibility and functional beauty. Drawing on decades of experience, it offers refined everyday clothing that combines freedom with a sophisticated aesthetic.
The lightweight hybrid denim combines cotton with SOLOTEX, a high-performance fiber developed by Teijin Frontier.
SOLOTEX fibers have a spring-like helical structure, giving them excellent stretch and shape recovery. They flex naturally with your movements and return toward their original shape after wear, helping reduce wrinkles and loss of shape.
With the natural character of conventional cotton denim, the fabric feels soft against the skin and light to wear. It brings together an authentic denim appearance and everyday ease.
Where Workwear Meets Tailoring
A chin strap allows the collar to be raised and fastened when you want to keep the wind out. This classic chore jacket detail also adds a distinctive accent to your outfit.
The front features removable change buttons that are secured without being sewn directly onto the fabric. This construction helps prevent buttons from falling off due to broken thread, combining practicality with authentic workwear character.
Pockets on both sides of the chest balance the design while providing convenient storage for a smartphone and small essentials.
The hand pockets at the waist feature a double-compartment interior, offering generous storage while keeping the exterior clean.
