Founded in Wisconsin in 1932, DANNER is a long-established American boot brand. It was the first in the United States to introduce footwear featuring Vibram soles and later became the first footwear company to use GORE-TEX in its footwear.

The moccasin construction uses a single piece of cowhide, with the toe carefully laced together using leather cord.

The outsole uses a crepe sole.
