Founded with the goal of creating timeless, durable cut-and-sew garments using traditional Japanese knitting machines, TIEASY produces high-quality Made-in-Japan essentials crafted by skilled artisans. In 2016, the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship was recognized with the Good Design Award.
Character and Depth Unique to Vintage Knitting Machines
The fabric is made from HDCS (High Density Cotton Slub Jersey). Produced in Kiryu, Gunma Prefecture, it is knitted on vintage knitting machines that have been in operation since the Taisho era, under the care of skilled artisans.
Knitted at roughly one-third the speed of conventional T-shirt fabrics, it develops a dense, substantial texture with remarkable depth and character.
By knitting with carefully aligned slub yarns, the fabric develops the rich, naturally washed appearance of a well-loved garment.
The reverse side features a textured structure that minimizes contact with the skin, creating a dry, breathable feel. Meanwhile, the surface tempers the rustic nature of slub cotton, resulting in a refined and understated finish.

The neckline features a crew neck with just the right amount of coverage. A slightly wider rib finish lends a polished, contemporary look.
Three-quarter-length raglan sleeves provide ease of movement while adding a relaxed, effortless feel.
