A knitwear project by Yonetomi Seni that pursues timeless basics designed for a "new everyday life." Drawing on the expertise of a true factory brand, it proposes clothing for modern daily life through thoughtful details and subtle, refined touches.









Cashmere Yarn Twisted to Its Limit
Unlike conventional cashmere, which typically prioritizes softness, this knit takes a different approach.

To strengthen the yarn itself, a custom cashmere yarn was specially developed with an exceptionally high twist, pushed to the limit of what the fibers can withstand.

It is this strength in the yarn that makes a knit that evolves over time, much like denim, possible.

Built to Last: The Strength of Dense Knitting
Knitted slowly and tightly to create a dense fabric, it has the substantial weight and firm feel of a sweatshirt.

・Gradually softens and molds to the body with wear
・Resists pilling

It is this dense knit construction that allows the sweater to gradually soften and develop its own character with wear.

Rigid Finish: Intentionally Left Untreated
Conventional cashmere typically undergoes washing, fulling, and softening processes to achieve its finished feel. This sweater, however, is intentionally left untreated, preserving its original rigid texture.

The idea is to leave the final stage of its transformation to the wearer. With repeated wear and hand washing, the residual spinning oils gradually wash away, allowing the knit to soften and develop a character all its own.

Even the scent of spinning oil remains, evoking the raw, utilitarian character of workwear. This kind of untreated finish is rare in knitwear.

The crew neck has a comfortable, slightly close fit. The soft ribbing makes it easy to layer over shirts and other pieces.
