A brand known for vintage-inspired pieces that recreate the dry atmosphere of classic America from the 1950s to the 1970s. BARNS OUTFITTERS is especially recognized for its carefully crafted products made using traditional loopwheel knitting machines.

Soft and airy comfort from traditional loopwheel knitting
The fabric embodying that dry American vintage atmosphere is knitted using one of the few remaining old-fashioned loopwheel knitting machines preserved at a long-established factory in Wakayama, Japan. These machines can produce only around 12 to 13 T-shirts per day.



Knitted slowly while retaining air within the fabric, the material develops a soft, airy texture that feels exceptionally comfortable against the skin.





The print features a special Mickey design originally sold exclusively at Disneyland during the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.



Its distinctive background sets it apart from ordinary character prints, adding a collectible sense of history and personality to the piece.



The neckline uses a binder neck construction, where the body fabric is reinforced with thick ribbing for added durability and comfort.

Two-needle stitching is used when attaching the ribbing, creating a finish that is visually cleaner than triple stitching while offering greater durability than single stitching—a balanced expression of both refinement and quality.



The tubular body construction is another signature detail of loopwheel knitting, created by knitting the fabric in a continuous tube. Without side seams, it offers both exceptional comfort and a clean appearance.
